Leadership Team
The Community Church is served by a team of elders:
Jon Clark
Jon is the Lead Elder of the church. Jon and his wife Vic both grew up in Bedford. They got married in 2002 and spent 18 months at King’s Church, Catford with Steve Tibbert who heads up the team overseeing the London Newfrontiers Churches. In January 2004, they moved to the Dover House Estate in Putney and Jon became the full-time lead elder of the church. Vic is a full time mum to their two children. They both love the American series, The West Wing.
Jason Byrne
Jason and Ruth met in 2000 on an aid trip to the Dominican Republic whilst at university. They married in 2003 after moving to London and joined The Community Church in 2004. Jason heads up the worship team. Jason works for a Management Consultancy firm in the city and Ruth is a full time mum to Caleb and Daniel. They live in Roehampton. Jason is a Liverpool FC fan, and although she might surprise you with her football knowledge, Ruth generally prefers a good chat over coffee!
Jem Howe
Jem and his wife Susie live on the Dover House Estate. Jem works full time for the church, having previously worked as a pharmacist. Within the church, Jem oversees community groups, outreach & evangelism, children's work, finance, health & safety and the building. He is a man of many talents! Susie is the director of the Bethany Children’s Trust, a charity working with children at risk around the world. (See the links page for more information.)
George Momcilovic
George and his wife Erica live on the Dover House Estate with their three daughters, Anna, Catherine and Eve. George and Erica are both physiotherapists.
