Who are we?
‘For God, for each other, for the world’
The Community Church is a group of Christians who exist to worship God, encourage one another and serve people both inside and outside the church. We are a part of Newfrontiers, a worldwide family of churches seeking to restore the church, make disciples, train leaders, plant churches and reach the nations. The church is also associated with the Baptist Union and the Evangelical Alliance.
We meet every Sunday morning at 10:30am and our meetings are relaxed and informal. The meeting starts with about 40 minutes of worship, followed by teaching from the Bible. Our under 14s join us for about 20 minutes of worship, and then go to their various activities. We are based in Werter Road, which is just off Putney High Street. The building is opposite Sainsburys. Church to us means more than attending Sunday meetings. We aim to function as a family, being involved in each other’s lives. There are opportunities to meet during the week in small groups as well as engaging in a range of other activities. |
